Birch December 24 - January 20
A pipe sounds the ending of the day.
You have a month of rest and recuperation. The work, the struggle and the victories have all been met. Take this month to breath deeply, read some poetry, catch up on your sleep and generally slow down. Ahhh... at last!
Rowan January 21 - February 17
Dancing in my mind, I compose music to live by.
A month of creativity. With our thoughts we make the world! Listen to your thoughts, watch your thoughts and see where they are leading you. Now is the ideal time to compose thoughts of musical wonder and joy. Dance in your mind, dance in your life.
Ash February 18 - March 17
Dragons dive from the heavens of the West.
The West, where the ancients retired, dragons are their messengers. This month be alert. Attempts are being made to send you a sign, a message, a reassurance. This is coming from the heart of the Druid's Inner Circle. You will know when you know. A blessing indeed.
Alder March 18 - April 14
A shield of bronze covered in intricate designs.
Strength does not have to ugly. It can be beautiful. This month use your strength for beauty. Allow the strength to flow through you, let it guide you to that beauty that is every human's by birthright, let it drive your creativity. Enjoy this strength.
Willow April 15 - May 12
Waves of desire alternate with waves of self pity.
This is a month to achieve balance. The further you are along that path the smaller the swings will be this month. Perversely, once you are within steps of achieving balance, small swings can feel enormous. Listen with your heart to your mind. This month will bring balance.
Hawthorn May 13 - June 9
Battle hardened warriors fast before a skirmish.
Slow down this month, prepare for a minor battle that is coming. You have been through many spiritual battles in the past and these have hardened you to the ways of this world and the other realms. These great battles have always, despite their outward appearance, been battles with yourself. Prepare, the coming skirmish will be revealing.
Oak June 10 - July 7
Hunting with hounds, hunting with hawks, food for the table.
There is more than one way to provide nourishment for yourself and your loved ones. There is also more food than just the physical. This month, the members of The Inner Circle ask you to sample other spiritual systems. Look at Zen, Islam, Christianity, New Age. Just look, Truth is Truth. Truth is where you find it.

Here I stand to face my greatest test.
Having received the nine blessings last month, you are called to your greatest test this month. How are you to use these blessings? How are you to live with the physical realms and maintain your connections with the magical realms? This month you have the chance to find out!

A young man on a quest encounters the grail.
So, all those years of searching and struggle to find your grail and this month you encounter it. What do you need to be told? In the original stories the young man fails to ask the question: "Whom does the grail serve?" Will you ask? Are you ready to ask?
Bramble September 2 - September 29
Driving all before them the heroes of old conquered many
Reach into your heart, delve deeply into your spiritual and psychic roots and reconnect with the heroes of old. Even if you only connect with one, the courage, the drive, the wildness and the nobility of these ancients will flood through you. Remember, it is your acts and how you carry them out that demonstrates your nobility, not how much "stuff" you control, per se.

A sub-chieftain stirs up trouble for the High King.
Those in power can become stale and require a boot in the pants from timer to time. Are you the boot or the booted or both? Stir up a little trouble this month and look deeply at anyone who is causing disruption to your routines. They could be a blessing in disguise.
Reed October 28 - November 24
A bowman at dawn catches a deer unawares.
Your searches for wonder require an early start this month. You learnt that death is a consequence of birth last month. Are you prepared to consume the power and the wisdom of the deer? You have it caught unawares, the choice is yours.
Elder November 25 - December 23
Ley lines intersect under a sacred stone.
Centres of natural power become obvious when you look with your other sight. This a month for finding these centres. They are located right across the globe. Look and listen with your hands and feet. They may be muffled in urban areas but they are there. You will find then and you will be enlightened.
