Birch December 24 - January 20
Opening doors and closing windows.
This is the month to reorganize your understanding of the world. There is no longer a need to watch from within the boundaries of yourself. Open your doors to the wonder and the possibilities available to you this month.
Rowan January 21 - February 17
On the tenth cycle the answer will be revealed.
Ask your question this month. Ask it deeply, ask it with conviction and ask it knowing the answer is on its way. Then forget the question, let it slip from your consciousness for the answer is coming. It is coming within ten moon cycles.
Ash February 18 - March 17
Traveling through the tree of life leads you to your roots.
The tree of life is your link between the goddess, gods and the physical world. Meditate upon this tree during this month. You have the chance to find your purpose on this plane. Look carefully, your eyes are about to opened.
Alder March 18 - April 14
An open hand carries no malice.
Keep your hands and your mind open this month. Look for those around you with a similar view on life. They are your link to your future. Those with closed hands are not, avoid them.
Willow April 15 - May 12
A sail appears on the horizon.
The new hope, the relief, the support and the supply you have been dreaming of and waiting for is close at hand. Prepare for liberation this month, help is on its way.
Hawthorn May 13 - June 9
Hunting for rabbits I find a golden hind.
During this month you are in for a surprise. That for which you have been searching will lead you to a much bigger prize. Search as usual and be prepared for a momentous outcome.
Oak June 10 - July 7
Closing the doors of the past leads to wings of freedom.
Make an inventory of your past. Bless it and burn it. As the flames rise and the smoke disperses let go of all unhelpful attachments to the past. Then you will be free to fly into the future.
Holly July 8 - August 4
A stone circle at Summer Solstice.
At the height of the summer's power, a stone circle concentrates the energy and amplifies it. Such energy is available to you this month. Use it carefully, as electricity in a cable not lightening bouncing around the sky.
Hazel August 5 - September 1
The moon rises over the ocean of discontent.
The troubles that beset you are only to be solved by traveling inward. The rising of the moon is light being thrown on your troubles. Take time to let this moonlight shine from within you and the answers you seek will show themselves to you.
Bramble September 2 - September 29
Armed men liberate the lost lands.
The great within you, the righteous anger that fights injustice, that cannot live with the inner contradictions is about to wake you up to yourself. Remember the lost lands that are your childhood dreams? You are about to regain them!
Ivy September 30 - October 27
Dancing at Beltane leads to expected pleasures.
The process leads to the outcome you expect. The dancing at Beltane is part of the process, the ritual that leads to the great coupling. Follow the path before you and the expected pleasures cannot fail to arrive.
Reed October 28 - November 24
A sacred knife is found embedded in a stone.
That which is your greatest gift, your mind, is founded on the world you live in. The sacred duty of this month is to use your mind to see your connection to and place in this world. Think, think and then think some more. For this is your gift as a human!
Elder November 25 - December 23
A high fort of brigands is brought under the King's control.
Your thoughts are your own. With them you make the world. Your higher ideals have been taken over by a false philosophy but this month you regain control of your high fort. Your thinking clears and the falsehoods are revealed and removed. Feel the freedom of true personal thought!
